The Challenge
Mappedin is a company specializing in indoor mapping and spatial data management. The project focuses on revolutionizing last-mile delivery by developing automated tools for creating and annotating indoor maps in complex environments. Utilizing a computer vision model, the initiative will digitize building plans, allowing delivery personnel to mark Points of Interest (POIs) like parking and drop-off locations. The outcome will be precise, annotated maps that facilitate courier navigation, ready for export or integration into existing routing systems. Additionally, Mappedin is innovating with NLP and Generative AI to enable a voice-only interface for drivers, accessible via an SDK, to interact with these indoor maps.
