This call for applications invites organizations from coast to coast to submit their proposals to join the official Canadian delegation and represent our country on the international stage. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your AI and tech expertise, connect with global industry leaders, and explore new markets in Europe.

- Presence at the Canada Pavilion: Showcase your organization at a strategic location within VivaTech.
- Access passes: Receive two passes for the four-day event.

Applications are open from February 3 to February 24, 2025. Selected companies will be contacted starting March 24, 2025.
Selection Criteria for VivaTech 2025
For VivaTech 2025, Scale AI will assemble a delegation of organizations representing Canadian excellence and leadership in tech and artificial intelligence. The following criteria will guide our selection process.
1. General Information
We assess the strength and maturity of participating organizations. The criteria include:
- Company size: Number of employees and annual revenue to evaluate capacity to engage in international markets.
- Language and location: Ensuring organizations represent diverse Canadian provinces and can communicate effectively.
- Organizational structure: Clear roles and contacts to ensure reliable representation at the event.
2. Profile and Contribution to the Ecosystem
We seek organizations making a significant impact on the tech and AI ecosystem. The criteria include:
- Industry and organization type: Relevance within the tech and AI ecosystem (startup, SME, large company, research organization, etc.).
- Nature of activities: Expertise in hardware, software, or both, to ensure diversity of Canadian solutions.
3. Expansion and International Presence
A strong readiness for international markets is essential. The criteria include:
- Presence in Europe or elsewhere: Existence of offices or infrastructure internationally.
- European market analysis: Identification of opportunities, competitors, and potential partners.
- Dedicated internal resources: Teams, budget, and expansion strategy.
- Planned investments: Financial capacity to support expansion in Europe over the next 12 months.
4. Participation in VivaTech 2025
Active participation aligned with the delegation’s objectives is crucial. The criteria include:
- Availability of representatives: Commitment to be present in Paris from June 11 to 14, 2025.
- Number of representatives: Organization’s capacity to mobilize human resources for the event.
- Relevance of product or service showcased: Ability to highlight an AI solution aligned with European market needs.
- Clear participation goals: Strategies to maximize the impact of their presence.
- Commitment to represent Canadian leadership: Planned actions to promote Canadian innovation during the event.
Timeline of the Selection Process
1. Call for applications: February 4–24, 2025
Interested companies can submit their application via the form below.
2. Application review: February 25–March 23, 2025
Applications will be evaluated based on the selection criteria outlined above.
3. Announcement of the Canadian delegation to VivaTech: Between March 25 and April 3, 2025
Selected companies will be contacted, and Scale AI will issue an official announcement including the list of the organizations selected to be part of the mission.
4. Preparation meetings: Multiple dates between March 25 and June 11
Our team will provide logistical support, including preparation sessions to refine your key messages, build a schedule that maximizes your investment, connect you with key provincial government partners in charge of business development in Europe, and secure hotels at discounted rates.
5. Participation at VivaTech: June 11–14, 2025
Delegation members will participate in this major event in Paris to represent Canadian innovation in artificial intelligence.
Selection Process
All applications will be evaluated based on these criteria. Our goal is to create a diverse delegation representative of the strengths of Canada’s AI and tech ecosystem. Information collected through the questionnaire will be used solely for selection purposes.
