Training

To have your program considered for certification, submit your application here and our selection committee will assess your application.

The program covers various types of training, including general AI training, coaching, workshops, ideation sessions, and AI systems training.

Depending on your project, the training can be intended for all types of employees, including members of the executive committee, managers at all levels, and employees.

Scale AI distributes financial resources for the development of digital intelligence skills that cover up to 50% of the costs of customized training in the domain.

You are eligible if:

• You will train employees working in Canada
• Your organization is not controlled by the federal government

Your project is eligible if:

• It involves training in digital intelligence or artificial intelligence, with content custom-developed for you in collaboration with the training provider of your choice.
• The total project amount is at least $5,000
• Expenses reimbursed by Scale AI for this project will not be reimbursed or subsidized by another government program (municipal, provincial, or federal).

1. Fill out an eligibility application. Upon receiving your application, we will contact you for further information.
2. If your project qualifies, we will have you complete the full application.
3. We present your project to our selection committee for a decision.
4. If your project is approved, we can proceed with signing the contract and other documents. At this point, we will confirm the amount of the granted subsidy. Note that to receive a subsidy, you must not commence training until Scale AI has approved the project.
5. Receive the training.
6. Submit the required documents to Scale AI and receive a partial reimbursement of costs.

You are eligible if:

• You are an organization based in Canada. Training providers can include businesses, non-profits, post-secondary institutions, consortia, research centers, etc.

Your project is eligible if:

• The total project amount is at least $5,000
• It involves training in digital intelligence or artificial intelligence custom-developed for your client to address their specific business needs.

1. Once you have developed the course outline with your client, it’s the client who must submit their application here. If the project is eligible, you will need to provide certain information for the application, including detailed costs.
2. We present your project to our selection committee for a decision.
3. If the project is approved, we can proceed with signing the contract between Scale AI and your client. Note that for your client to receive a subsidy, you must not commence training until Scale AI has approved the project.
4. Deliver the training.
5. Invoice your client.
6. Your client will receive a partial reimbursement from Scale AI.

If you are a training provider, the application must be submitted by your client, the learning organization, who must apply here. Note that we do not pre-approve training content for training providers. Each project must be submitted separately.

There are no fees to submit an application. If your project is approved, the organization receiving the training will be asked to sign a membership agreement with Scale AI, which incurs fees.
